"Well diary, I'm all packed and ready to go"

Not quite just yet, but soon. Packing is coming along. I've got my clothing semi-figured out - four long skirts, four baggy shirts, and one pair of pants. I picked out some items, tried them on together, decided they would suffice until I purchased an entirely new wardrobe, then brought the clothes upstairs. My bedroom's in the basement, you see. Sometimes it feels nice to bring things up to the light and openness of the main floor. If I do all my packing in the basement the whole thing will feel like a secret, and that's not how I feel or what I want. I need other people the most right now.

I place the heap of clothing on a chair. I lay my big third generation travel backpack (thanks Adrienne!) on the floor, open the zipper, and prepare for INSERTION. Sorry, I had to. I prepared to put stuff in it. It was empty, then I made it full. That is all.

I folded my clothes one by one and took a few giddy steps to my bag across the floor. I crouched and gently dropped a shirt in, a skirt, some undies. I even gently dropped in a flattened roll of toilet paper as per Sarah's suggestions. If it were in slow motion, it would have been the sexiest part of this story. But unfortunately, as per the regulatory laws of reality, no slow mo = no sexy.

As per anyways, today, like the Slowpoke (or Snorlax, pick your poison) I am, I got my TRAVEL SHOTS today! Yay! One day before I friggen LEAVE! I'm a genius! High fives all around. Where in the world did I have to go in order to get some quick shots without an appointment? Why, SCARBOROUGH, of course! What a strange place. I felt like I should have shown the driver my passport and not my $2.75. I don't know where to begin, so I won't even START. Ha! I follow NO narrative rules, suckers!

So tomorrow's the big day. One more sleep, so say the status-mavens on Facebook who countdown to some unexplained but presumably important event, sleep after sleep. Well, I'll have you know that this is important. To me, anyway. And for my parents, all three (or four, Dr. Posluns?) of them. This is so exciting! I've got the nervous farts - Dukoral takes care of the rest.

6:25 PM is lift off. I'll catch you cats on the flip side. PAYCE!

oh man! good luck, bring fun stuff for the plane. TP was such a good call. hope you don't sit next to someone awful for the big flight!
Make sure to take pictures of the people, it's so much more telling than landscapes! Hope you have an awesome time (duh of course you will)
I was going to say something about hoping the Dukoral does it's job..but I'm sure you'll care about it far more than me.
EXCLAIMATION POINT!!!!!!
